I’ve been hearing the argument from several very smart people that cutting taxes raises the tax revenue collected by the Government because businesses reinvest that money into operations, causing an increase in their profit, which eventually increases the taxes they pay. Without thinking through that, it seems to make sense. But that is without thinking.
